Our physiotherapy follow up or “subsequent” treatments are available to book online. If you are looking to book your first visit with us, we look forward to working with you! For new patients, or for those that have not been in for more than four months, we ask that you phone the clinic for your initial booking. Our staff are happy to assist you by phone at: 403-356-9789.

This allows our front desk staff to book you with the physiotherapist that best suits your needs in terms of injury type, treatment type and time, and urgency. You can send us an email to info@pursuitphysio.com if more convenient for you.

Telehealth visits are available to any patients in Alberta that are unable to attend in-person. Please contact our office to make arrangements.

Physiotherapists use their knowledge as movement specialists to assist in the rehabilitation needed to restore optimal function after injury or illness, or when pain and dysfunction is present with no known injury. Physios hold university science degrees and use their knowledge to help people through education, exercise, hands on treatment, and a variety of modalities. Additional post graduate courses and training allow some physios to provide specialized services. They collaborate with other health professionals to provide a balanced and individualized treatment approach.
All physiotherapists at Pursuit are regulated health professionals under the Physiotherapy Alberta College & Association.

Specialized Services: Certified Vestibular Therapist (treatment for Vertigo)

Bryan Boorman is a graduate of the University of Alberta. He has been working in Red Deer since 2004. He has a strong interest in manual muscle mobilization which involves deep myofascial release techniques. More recently, Bryan has been studying specific control of stabilizing muscles. This will improve postural stability and correct movement dysfunction patterns in all areas of the body.

Bryan also practices vestibular therapy, which helps people who have concerns with dizziness and balance. The most common symptom of vestibular dysfunction is vertigo, which is a type of dizziness where it feels like your body, or your surroundings, are moving. Bryan is specially trained to diagnose and treat, or help the medical doctor manage, the different causes of vertigo. In many cases an accurate assessment (and sometimes even treatment) can be done via telehealth; so even if you live too far away to get to the clinic, he can still help you out!

Bryan is an avid hockey player and Oilers fan and enjoys treating the sporting population. He also enjoys tennis and golf to shorten the long months between hockey seasons. Bryan is pleased to share his knowledge of shots and swings with people interested in optimizing their sporting performance. Originally from Dawson Creek, BC, Bryan lives in Red Deer with his wife Erin, son Liam and daughter Julia.
